Accessibility

Built to work for more people.

Our target for the public website is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is an ongoing engineering target, not a claim of certification or perfect conformance.

Statement issued and last reviewed: August 31, 2026

Commitment and target

Black Label Real Estate aims to make its public website and core account paths perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, high-contrast settings, reduced-motion preferences and small screens.

Target: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for content and functionality we control. References to WCAG or the Americans with Disabilities Act describe our design and remediation target; they do not represent third-party certification or a legal determination.

Features implemented on this site

Keyboard access

Skip links, visible focus indicators, native controls, logical tab order and keyboard-operable navigation.

Structure

Landmarks, ordered headings, labeled forms, table headers, status regions and descriptive link text.

Visual access

High-contrast text palette, fluid typography, text reflow, responsive layout and controls sized for touch.

Motion

Reduced-motion preferences suppress or simplify nonessential animation. Core information remains available without animation.

Nonvisual content

Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology; interactive visuals have accessible names or text equivalents.

Error recovery

Account and form feedback uses text and programmatic status regions rather than color alone.

The policy and contact pages are designed for reflow down to narrow mobile widths and provide print styles for readable offline copies.

Known boundaries

  • Interactive property canvas: the homepage parcel plot is a visual summary. A text result list and live caption provide the corresponding property information.
  • Complex motion: the homepage can include animation and visual depth effects. Operating-system reduced-motion preferences are honored, and the page's content and controls do not depend on those effects.
  • Third parties: Stripe checkout/customer portal, government record sites, email clients, external provider tools and marketplace pages are outside our direct control. We will help identify an alternate path where practical.
  • Desktop product: accessibility of the native Mac and Windows applications is evaluated separately from this website and can vary by feature and platform version.
  • Public source documents: a linked county PDF, map or court record may not meet the same target. Contact us for help locating the source information in another form.

Assessment approach

We combine automated checks with keyboard, zoom/reflow, responsive and semantic review. Automated tools detect only part of WCAG, so a clean automated result is evidence for a subset of criteria, not proof of complete conformance.

Changes to navigation, account, checkout links, policies and interactive homepage controls are included in regression review. Issues are prioritized by whether they block a user from understanding content, completing a purchase, managing billing, requesting removal or contacting support.

Feedback and alternate access

If a page or function creates a barrier, email michael@blbestate.com. Include the URL or product area, what you were trying to do, what happened, and your browser/operating system or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. You do not need to disclose a disability.

We will provide a reasonable alternate way to access the affected information or function while we investigate. Accessibility feedback is also listed on the public contact page.
